The Cuban Consul General will be visiting Vancouver, and CoDev is co-hosting a public event on Sept 21 which marks the United Nations International Day of Peace. Alongside the Consul General there will be speakers from the Vancouver & District Labour Council, Apartheid Free Communities, the Vancouver Peace Council, CoDev, and the Canadian Network on Cuba. Discussions will be centered around updates on the current situation in Cuba, and the necessity of growing the peace and solidarity movement, with the involvement of organized labour. 

This will be a free event so please invite anyone who may be interested!
